JAN provides free and confidential consultation for employers of all sizes and types (e.g., private, federal, state, or local government, etc.). This consultation includes practical guidance on workplace accommodation solutions, accommodation process strategies, and the employment provisions (Title I) of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related legislation.

We partner with businesses to increase understanding of neurodiversity, develop inclusive hiring and management practices, and connect them to highly qualified, untapped talent pool.

The Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) Employer Reasonable Accommodation Fund (ERAF) creates a central fund where small to mid-sized Minnesota employers can request reimbursement for expenses related to providing reasonable accommodations for job applicants and employees with disabilities. The ERAF's purpose is to encourage employment of people with disabilities by reducing any perceived or real financial barriers.

In addition to processing reimbursements, the ERAF Coordinator is available for technical assistance (TA) and consultation at no cost to employers.

The Employer Reasonable Accommodation Fund (ERAF) was originally launched as a two-year pilot program running from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2025, with a legislative appropriation of $4,000,000.

While the initial pilot period has concluded, the ERAF program will continue operating beyond June 30, 2025, until remaining funds are expended.

I work with employers and organizations to better support neurodivergent employees, resulting in improved employee well-being and reduced burnout and turnover. Offerings include: Customized training and workshops; neuroinclusion strategy consultation; neurodiversity inclusivity and accessibility audits/assessments; policy and materials development; leadership, management, and employee neuroinclusion coaching.
