Our Story

Noah’s Landing began as a dream—born from years of searching for a place where my son, Noah, and others like him could truly belong. Noah is a 26-year-old Autistic adult with low to medium support needs. For years, first with my husband and then as a single mom, we struggled to find resources to help him grow and live independently. Our move from Illinois to Minnesota in 2024 brought hope, but real opportunities for work and independent living are still difficult to find.

As I met more families, I realized I wasn’t alone. Many parents and Autistic adults face the same challenges—feeling isolated, spinning our wheels, and struggling to navigate a complicated system. Even with my background as an Occupational Therapist and taking 18 months off work to help Noah, it was overwhelming. I can only imagine how tough it is for families without those advantages.

After COVID, Noah became even more withdrawn. He lost friends and found it hard to leave home. I saw firsthand how loneliness and lack of community affect so many Autistic adults. That’s why Noah’s Landing was created—not just out of frustration, but out of hope and a deep need for change.

Our mission at Noah’s Landing is simple: build a community for Autistic young adults, support families, and make it easier to find services and opportunities. We want to help parents and siblings navigate the journey, connect employers and job coaches, and create paths to meaningful work and independent living. Above all, we want every Autistic adult to feel safe, supported, and part of something bigger.
